”Children & Their Future” Art Contest 2016

The "cars of the future" drawn by the children of Japan were on display in Monaco,
a motorsport country famous as a venue for the F1 Grand Prix.

※This event has been certified by the Embassy of Japan in Monaco and the Monaco
government as a "project commemorating a decade of Japan-Monaco friendship."

Winning works

[Subscription period] September 1, 2016 to September 30
[Application Forms] Distributed to Miraiya Bookstore branches nationwide
[Prizes] Gold prize: one person - ¥30,000 Tosho card (prepaid card for purchasing books)
Silver prize: three persons - ¥10,000 Tosho card
Bronze prize: five persons - ¥5,000 Tosho card
In addition, We are preparing Special Prize.
[How to apply] Please draw a picture directly on the application form and mail it to the following address by September 30 (valid as long as it is sent by the deadline). A panel of judges will perform a rigorous screening, and works that have passed the first screening will be exhibited at the "Second Japan-Monaco cultural exchange tea party" held in Monaco on November 5th. Following this, a secondary screening will be performed to determine the winners, and supplementary prizes will be awarded.
